Unite, the union representing over 4,000 Heathrow Airport employees, has announced that the strike scheduled for the th of August has also been suspended.
The purpose of the suspension is to allow workers to vote on a new pay deal that has been offered, as a result of Monday's talks.
The strikes scheduled for the 23rd and 24th of August will remain on the table whilst the new vote goes ahead.
It is unclear how airlines will respond to the news since flight schedules are normally submitted one or two days in-advance, as such anyone booked to travel should check with their airline directly.
