No-Deal Brexit and Travel Money

No-Deal Brexit and Travel Money - Expert with Points

As the pound continues to struggle in the face of Brexit-related uncertainty, among other factors, it is worth considering what to do with your upcoming travel currency needs.

If you feel the pound will continue to fall in value against the Euro, then purchasing your travel money now may be sensible, despite the levels today being low.

Look for deals online and in advance of your departure date, for the best savings and rates.

With a collapse in the currency possible, it would lead to everything in overseas resorts being more expensive.

Whilst this year’s summer holidays will likely be already booked, it may be worth considering booking very early this year if you are planning travel breaks such as skiing holidays.

If the pound falls further in the run-up to and after a potential no-deal Brexit, then tour operators will be forced to raise their prices. If you book now, you may prevent some of this extra expense, if you believe a collapse in the currency is likely.

Of course, to counter this completely, consider a holiday in the UK next year. We have a collection of UK-based travel guides to read (link here) and a UK staycation guide (link here).
